Pre-Interview Social

New York is an amazing place to train and if not more amazing to live in!  Prior to your interview, you will receive an email from a current resident that has been assigned to assist you in your interview process. In that email you will find the date, time, and location for the pre-interview social. The social is held the night before the interview. Come with questions to ask our residents. We understand that we can list everything online but it takes away from a fun discussion over food and drinks so come hungry and thirsty! Attire is casual.

Interview Day

Do not be nervous! Our EM program coordinator, Cheryl, will have done a thorough job completing your itinerary and interview day schedule. This alleviates stress and confusion on the big day. She will also arrange for parking to be covered (BUHMC parking garage). In short, the interview day consists of a presentation, three faculty interviews, a resident-run interview, a tour and lunch. Candidates will receive a list of interviewers prior to the interview day.  Each interviewer will score the applicant utilizing a standardized applicant review template. You will also be welcome to ask any additional questions you may have about the program.
