Pursuing clinical rotations at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center enables students to get an understanding of the residency program, clinical setting, and patient population.
Students who successfully complete the clerkship rotation and are in satisfactory standing are eligible to request a composite Standardized Letter of Evaluation (SLOE) from the department. Only one (1) letter will be submitted from the entire EM faculty at Brookdale.
We offer clerkship rotations to qualified allopathic and osteopathic medical students through VSAS. VSAS students can find our rotation under “New York Medical College” by choosing “Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center” as the clinical site.
At this time, we also offer spots exclusively for Caribbean medical schools that are affiliated with our hospital (SABA and Ross University).
All medical student rotations must be scheduled through our hospital’s GME Office.
